Definition Computer Science

        Computer science (Ilkom), or in English it is called Computer Science (CS), is generally 

interpreted as a science related to both computing, hardware (software) and software (software). 

Computer science addresses a variety of topics related to computers, ranging from abstract 

analysis to more concrete subjects such as programming languages, software, including hardware.

As a scientific discipline, Computer Science places more emphasis on computer programming,

and software engineering (software), while computer engineering places more emphasis on things

like computer hardware (hardware). However, this second term is often misunderstood by many people.

       

The Church-Turing thesis declared that all publicly published tools were published in what

they could do, even with different efficiency. This thesis considers consideration of the

basic principles of computer science. Computer science experts usually deal with von Neumann

computers or Turing machines (computers that do small and decisive tasks at a given time),

because of things like what is meant by computers used today. Computer scientists also study

other types of machines, some of which cannot be used by practitioners (such as neural computers,

computer DNA, and quantum computers) and some that are still adequate, such as random computers 

and oracle computers.

Computer Science that studies what can be done by several programs, and what is not

(computability and artificial intelligence), how the program must be in accordance with the results 

(algorithm), how the program must store and retrieve certain bits based on information(data structure),

and how programs and users communicate (user interface and programming language). Computer science is

rooted in electronics, mathematics and linguistics. In the last three decades of the 20th century, 

computer science has become a new scientific discipline and has developed its own methods and terms.
